BCS  2021-14 Pavement Management Engineering Services, Statewide, Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA), Hanover, MD

This project involves various pavement asset management tasks such as supporting  collection, processing, storage, management, analysis and reporting of pavement asset data, implementation of risk based criticality framework for pavement assets as part of Transportation Asset management Plan (TAMP), developing and reporting strategic business plan goals, supporting asset sponsor districts in making rehabilitation and maintenance decisions, developing and implementing pavement asset management plans, asset performance data analysis and modeling, establishing processes and procedures for tracking pavement asset inventory changes and maintaining inventory, database development and programming to facilitate efficient data manipulation, refining and retrieval.

This project involved analyzing pavement performance data to determine the structural and functional conditions of the pavement, establishing pavement system preservation goals and strategies, identifying and extracting various data needed for MEPDG calibration, developing the friction management guide procedures to identify friction locations which needs intervention, and developing pavement performance models for various condition parameters such as IRI, rutting, cracking, faulting and friction. Also worked on analyzing the Remaining Service Life (RSL) data for various preservation treatments to determine their efficacy.

BCS  2011-01 Pavement Management Services, Statewide, MDOT SHA, Hanover, MD

This project involved developing a Data warehouse for the Pavement Management (PM) Division of MDOT SHA. PM Division collects, stores, analyses, and reports various data related to highways using automated data collection equipment and other data collection methods. The data warehouse acts as the central repository for all the pavement related data supplying it to various applications within MDOT SHA.  The data consists of pavement and right of way images, pavement condition data, inventory data and construction history data.
